Victorian Hell!
In all of this huge house…10 rooms and 3 bathrooms…only a single room had carpet. It was horrible stuff and I ordered new. Loews wouldn’t remove the old carpeting and we found out why. The stuff you can find underneath is something no sane person would want to see. My stomach rolls and churns as I remember.
It took hours to scrap all of the layers away. To make matters worse…yesterday I signed a sale contract and could have avoided it. And to make matters worse, I’m taking a ten thousand dollar loss if this goes through, so I paid for the carpet-ripping-up experience. There’s a moral to this, but I don’t know what.

Does this mean you will be coming back to us? I hope so. Double yuck to the removing of old carpet. I saw what was under carpeting once when we had new installed. Scary stuff.
