I can’t say enough about my local writing chapters.  I belong to two Arizona Romance Writing groups, which are Valley of the Sun and Desert Rose. 

Once a month I meet with fellow authors to network, learn and get pumped up to write.  It’s exhilarating to have so much encouragement.  The local chapters bring in guest speakers (Agents, Editors, Sherrilyn Kenyon and so many wonderful others). 

 They educate the author on the business end of writing, which believe me has helped me tremendously.  My fellow chapter members motivate me to write every day and they celebrate the hard times (e.g., rejections).  It’s a silo’d business, but I don’t feel alone when I’m with my peeps.

I’m so grateful for the best introduction to the Butterscotch Martini girl critique group!!

So, I highly encourage you to join your local romance writing chapter to help your journey be less lonely and to be the best author you can be.
