Long time Arizonan, Brit Blaise grew up with a deep and abiding love for books. She believes in dark and dangerous heroes; strong women who are not afraid to think for themselves; head over heels love; fairy tale endings and that it’s more fun to laugh than to cry, but doing both at the same time is the best gift of all.

She writes fun, sizzling stories with a twist of the unexpected.

When not busy crafting a story, you can find her caring for her extended family in her mountainside home on the outskirts of Phoenix where rattlesnakes are frequent guests, or in the ramshackle Victorian she’s restoring in small town Ohio.
Shortly after joining this critique group in October of 2004, she submitted a short story for a contest.  She won a contract due largely to her critique partners who helped ready the story.

Monkey Around was published with Romance at Heart Publishing in January of 2005.

Not one to rest on her proverbial behin—laurels, she immediately started writing a story for a second contest with Amber Quill Press. One story, turned into three and all of them were winners in the 2005 Amber Heat Contest.  Cave Creek Cowboy, The Virginia Model-logues, and Another Cave Creek Cowboy. Amber Quill published eight of Brit’s stories in 2005 (Music Man, Cave Creek Cowboys in Vegas, Cave Creek Cowboys: Two Many Brides, Cave Creek Cowboy Christmas, and so far…for 2006 they’ve published two anthologies in trade-paperback and another four short stories.

Amber Quill also has her full-length historical western coming sometime in the future…Waltz with a Lawman.
Brit’s next project was to write a book with Tina.  Tina and her publisher Triskelion invited Brit to join the team writing the
Knights of Magical Realm:Warriors Gone Wild.  Her story is entitled Time Thieves.  Right now she’s busy penning a sequel to Time Thieves, she hopes Triskelion will love as much as she does.  Tentatively entitled,  Time Warrior:Finding Stardust, it’s the story the Butterscotch Martini Girls are helping Brit whip into shape.
With Amber Quill Press, Brit is often on their Best Seller lists.  In August of 2006, Wild and Wanton was number ONE! (She never gets tired of saying that.)(It’s #4 in September!)

Brit enjoys writing and reading above all else, and her hobbies have changed from needlework, quilting, and gardening to learning about natural living and organic cooking and cowboys
She likes to hear from readers, especially if you have something good to say; contact her
