Desert Dreams Conference

Tia and Dani

This last weekend I went to the Desert Dreams Conference. This is the second year I attended, and I swear it was better than the last. I couldn’t get over the energy level. The air literally vibrated with positive energy. There were so many romance writers, it boggled the mind.

There were tons of workshops for the inspired, the beginning and experienced writer. Food, drinks and friends. It was such a blast. I couldn’t have asked for more… Okay, maybe some more chocolate.

The dynamic duo, Tia and Dani (above) were selling there very hot, hot and spicy book, Layover. The book signing was a wonderful success. I hope next year I’ll be behind the table signing my book, The Long Road Home.

I had a chance to catch up with old friends and make some new ones.  I also met C.J. Lyons ran over to the Poisoned Pen after the conference. She was signing her new book, Lifelines.

If you are ever in Phoenix, come visit the authors at the next Desert Dreams Conference. You’ll leave inspired, and I bet, with a bag full of books.

Time, RT and Glitter

It’s almost RT time and I’m soooo not ready.  Why does time speed up when you have tooooo much too do?  Today, I’m sewing my fairy costume (yes, one week before) and working.  The material for my costume has a lot of glitter, hence my blog.

At one point, I looked down and could see glitter everywhere.  Because I had to try the outfit on several times, I walked around most of the day with my bra and undies (I know ice pick moment).  I did some work and then went back to sewing, off and on all day.  Love the freedom of working at home.

My cats decided to join me at various times today.  One laid in my work chair, so I had to kneel beside the desk to type up some emails.  The other two decided they would help me with the sewing.  No no is my one cats name or the tazmanian devil.  She decided she wanted to eat the end of my dress.  Then got bored and started to play or should I say eat the blinds.  Finally she got bored again and took a nap somewhere.  Whew!!

But no reprive, because the other one came in (yes I have 3 - I know I’m crazy) and wanted to sit in my lap.  Sewing and a writing lap cat don’t work.  Then she chased the ribbon I was using on the sleeves, then yes boredom took over.  She slept below the sewing machine for a little bit and then decided that I was ignoring her too much.

Thank God they are cute, because I really want to….I’ll leave it up to your imagination….:))))

Well, guess what?  Glitter is now on my chair, all over me, all over the cats, the carpet…..freaking everywhere.  Hey, it sounds like an RT story that Cassie and I have about last RT.

What happens at RT stays at RT….lol.

Hope you have a glitter day!!!!!

Inspirational Quote For The Day

Far away in the sunshine are my highest aspirations.  I may not reach them, but I can look up and see their beauty, believe in them, and try to follow where they lead.

Have a wonderful day,

Lady in a Box - Just Released!

Lady Catharine Harcourt’s little journal not only contains her most secret erotic thoughts, but she’s rendered them into precise drawings. When confronted by four masked men who have possession of her artwork and a vengeful agenda, she gets the opportunity to live out her favorite rendering…Lady in a Box. She’s the lady and the four naked men form the box walls.

Her day started out trapped under the obese naked body of her dead husband, Lord Frederick, and ended within the box of four hard male bodies. If only she hadn’t insisted her husband’s servant masquerade as Frederick so she could be admitted into a questionable and clandestine gathering.

Arden Harcourt and his friends have a mission—make his uncle, Lord Harcourt, pay for his many sins against them. What better way than to give his uncle’s wife what she wants?

With Arden’s uncle bound and gagged in his masked costume, the four conspirators use the man’s wife in a sexual encounter more risqué than any of them have ever experienced. And while Arden believes he’s torturing a man he despises, the woman casts a spell on him instead.

After the erotic escapade, will Lady Catharine and Arden ever be the same again?
