2 oz. ButterShots ... 2 oz. Baileys Carmel or Original ... 1 oz. Vanilla Vodka ... Shaken on ice...not stirred ... Coat glass with butterscotch, or drizzle on top, or both, "The first sip is to die for"
I don’t know about you, but I’m incompetent when it comes to text messaging. Not just two thumbs, but two fat, clumsy and completely inept thumbs. My daughters on the other hand are speed texters. Right after I send them a reply, another text zooms back from them. I can’t win… until this last week when I found this fantastic program on line called Cozi Central at www.cozicentral.com. I don’t know the people. I just stumbled across the site by accident while I was surfing. The best part of it is that it’s FREE. Yes, that’s right–freeware. How great is that?
It’s basically a calendar. It’s online but also standalone. You can make a grocery list and when you’re done you can send it all to your phone or email address at work. Also, you can send text messages to people that are speed demons when it comes to pushing telephone buttons. All you have to do is just type in a little box and when you’re done, hit send. No hunt and peck for me if I’m at home.
I’m sorry I haven’t written my blog in awhile but I’ve been traveling a lot. Recently, I had the opportunity to revisit some favorite places (i.e., Scotland, London and Paris)
In Scotland, I stayed at Castle Stuart (http://www.castlestuart.com). The castle is small and cozy and has about 8 bedrooms. I loved the people who worked there and the area. It was amazing seeing the last remnants of summer heather, feel the wind whip my hair around while I drank from Loch Ness and hear a waterfall thunder in the back woods.
I also had the opportunity to find a fantastic guide (http://www.exquisitescotland.com) that showed me shamrocks in a fallen log, hidden places near lochs that took your breath away and talked about Scottish history that I didn’t know.
I’ve missed the BSMG’s, friends/family, my pillow and my cats. Glad I’m back and can’t wait to catch up with everyone.
The little triangle thingy with green on the bar is the volume.
My daughter is so cool! She did this for me when I had a hard time trying to explain it. Show, don’t tell, is so true.

These are pictures from a local day-long event at the place our kids call the “apple barn”. It’s a local orchard.
I missed it! Paige and Parker Payton in the “sand” corn…the covered wagon ride through the apple orchard. My husband, who has never been, took my place. I’m back in school…for a few months.
